Relationship / Couples
These sessions give space and time to share, resolve issues, and define goals separately and together.
Partners are better able to hear and communicate needs and preferences more compassionately.
When a relationship dynamic seems stuck in a pattern of resentment or defensiveness, sessions improve emotional connection and vulnerability in a way that benefits the relationship.

Family
Family therapy is an opportunity to understand each other better and change patterns within your family. It can improve cooperation and communication and help you learn about individual and shared values.

Families with generational or social differences, such as grandparents raising grandchildren or first and second generation immigrant families also benefit.

Specialized Therapy Types and Formats
Therapy Intensives
Intensives are longer therapy sessions beneficial for individuals interested in deep work.
Many people enjoy the extended format. Individuals experienced in therapy, couples/partners processing experiences and engaged in conflict resolution, and many neurodivergent folks benefit from deep analysis and verbal processing of experiences and emotions.
Clients spend more time in session processing experiences, emotions, and identifying contributing factors and patterns that may be limiting them.
Available in-person and virtually to individuals and couples / partnerships.
2.5 hours, 3 hours, and greater are available.
Half and full day intensives are EMDR specific.
EMDR Therapy (Adults)
Integrative EMDR Therapy (Youth)
EMDR provides deep processing and recovery from trauma. Clients move through eight phases at a pace and rhythm unique to them. Bilateral stimulation (auditory, tactile, eye movements, physical movement, etc.) is used.
With time, the emotional and somatic intensity of traumatic memories decreases so clients are less distressed and emotional activated. Negative beliefs and fears no longer restrict open, meaningful participation in relationships or day-to-day life.
EMDR can assist clients who want to maintain or enhance emotional processing, positive beliefs, and self-awareness.
In youth sessions, EMDR is integrated into play, creative activities, sensory exploration, and body movement. I support children’s sense of safety as they build confidence, calm, and self-awareness.
Available in-person and virtually.
120min and extended formats are available for adults. Youth sessions are 60min.
I am a verified counsellor through Victim’s Services. Potential clients who want to use Victim’s Compensation funding should contact me prior to sessions.
Group Counselling
Groups offer a chance for clients to find acceptance and solutions within a community. They identify patterns or beliefs through discussions and share ways to shift positively.
Groups are offered and facilitated based on identified need or request (by clients in the community, agencies, or organizations, etc.).
When available, information will be shared on this page.
If you’re interested in requesting group services, such as for organizations, clients, or staff, please contact me to discuss.
Available in-person, virtually, and nature based sessions.
